Variety calls The 4th Dimension, “An Alice-like rabbit hole of suppressed memories…simmering with neurotic emotions and surreal dream states.” The Hollywood Reporter calls it, “Kafkaesque …stylistically channeling David Lynch and Darren Aronofsky.” IndieWire compliments its “Dazzling photography” and calls it “a swirling head-trip.” FilmThreat gives it 4 Stars, and calls it, “An inspired cinematic experience.” Ain’t it Cool News says it’s “Dark brooding mood and tone are seductive and compelling.” Trevor Groth of CineVegas and Sundance claims, “The 4th Dimension exemplifies the best of independent filmmaking.”

The 4th Dimension marks the first feature film by writer/directors Dave Mazzoni and Tom Mattera, and producer Daniel M. Kalai. All three are Philadelphia natives, and 2004 graduates of Temple University’s Film and Media Arts department. The film stars actors Louis Morabito (The Raven) and Miles Williams (Guiding Light).

The 4th Dimension made its World Premiere at the CineVegas International Film Festival, where it was granted the Grand Jury Honorable Mention Award. It was also granted the Technical Achievement Award at the Philadelphia International Film Festival. Since then the film has toured to 15 film festivals over 18 months on festival circuit throughout North America and Europe participating in screenings in Canada, Amsterdam, Belgium, Italy, Spain and a sold-out screening in France with over 600 people.

The independent, low-budget, feature film, The 4th Dimension will be released on DVD nationwide on Tuesday April 8, 2008. TLA Releasing has acquired the rights to the film for DVD distribution across North America, and due to an overwhelming demand, units are currently available to the public via pre-sale at www.tlavideo.com.
