Welcome to the
Trenton Film Society

In May 2004, the first Trenton Film Festival was held with the goal of bringing filmmakers and film-lovers together to appreciate the art of filmmaking.

Now in our sixth year, the Trenton Film Society is proud to offer a variety of exciting year-round programs designed to be of interest to both the casual and the most discriminating of moviegoers. The Trenton Film Society, like some of the works we present, is a work in progress, continuing to evolve and expand to meet the needs of our community and members.

Burt Lancaster Film Series

Few American actors’ careers were as long, varied, and acclaimed as Burt Lancaster’s. Whether portraying a dashing pirate, a womanizing military sergeant, an oil tycoon, an amoral journalist, or a broken middle-aged narcissist—Lancaster always made his roles uniquely his own. Join us this Spring on Wednesday nights as we revisit seven of his films at our favorite coffeehouse, Café Ole.
